The staff has worked to find ways to express our commitment to the people of this community and to each other. We are proud that we have completed all ten symbols of recognition for the Eden Alternative ®. The Eden Alternative ® enables a home to change from a medical model to a social model of care.      We have divided the facility into eight households. Elders eat in small dining rooms, participate in individualized activities, and have permanent care givers. This culture change, that we have achieved, is very innovative and something only a few nursing homes in the country have achieved.
